Shopify checkout
Checkout stays with Shopify. This screen configures the Shopify checkout domain used with the Customer Privacy API, and whether the storefront menu includes a Shopify-hosted Account link.
The checkout domain
Section titled “The checkout domain”Which Shopify domain handles checkout for this Space. It has to match your Shopify setup — a mismatch typically shows up as checkout failing to start, or consent behaving oddly.
Customer accounts
Section titled “Customer accounts”Turn on Show Account in navigation when this Space is the storefront customers shop on. Rubikc then adds an Account link as the last item in the menu.
That link goes to Shopify’s customer login, then to Shopify-hosted account pages. After they sign in they land on their Shopify account, not back on this Space. Account pages, checkout, and order status stay on Shopify — they are not rewritten onto this Space.
Buy again on a Shopify order page sends the customer back to this Space at
/cart, opens the cart, and shows the items from that order so they can check
out again.
If the menu already has an Account or login link, Rubikc does not add a second one.
Testing it
Section titled “Testing it”Complete a real purchase from your Rubikc storefront and confirm the order appears in Shopify. It is the only reliable test, and it belongs on your go-live checklist.
