Sources and Inbox

A Source is something pulled in from a connected system — a Shopify product, an Instagram post, a Drive file, or an approved Cevoid post — as it arrived, before it has been turned into anything.

The Inbox

Where synced material lands, in tabs: Pending for new material, Transformed for material that has become cubes, and Ignored. Filter by source type, or by whether cubes have been built from it.

Transform what you want to use, and Ignore the rest — ignored items move to the Ignored tab, and Un-ignore brings them back. Resync refreshes a single item from its source system. For Shopify products, bundles, collections, pages, and blog articles it refreshes every language, not only the one you have open.

Material sitting in the Inbox is not on your storefront. Nothing here is visible to customers until it has been transformed into cubes and published.

Source detail

Everything about one Source: what came across, where from, when, and which cubes have been built from it. Prices for a Shopify product, and the sync and transform logs, are on this page in sections you can open and close. Rubikc remembers which sections you leave open.

Turning a Source into a Cube

Transform it, choosing what gets built. On a Source that already has a cube, Transform again runs another one. See Turn Sources into Cubes.

You can transform one Source or many at once, which is how a whole catalogue gets built in one go. After you tick rows, you can select everything that matches the current filters, across all pages, and Transform, Resync and Ignore then apply to all of it. Progress appears on Transform logs.
