Verify and go live
Check the records
Section titled “Check the records”While Settings › Domain is open, Rubikc re-checks pending records every few seconds on its own. Check forces a fresh look straight away. Each of the three records is reported individually.

Per-record statuses are the useful part. “Not found” on record 3 and “Matches” on records 1 and 2 tells you exactly where to look.
Give it time
Section titled “Give it time”DNS changes take time to propagate — usually minutes, sometimes hours, depending on your provider and its cache settings.
SSL comes after DNS
Section titled “SSL comes after DNS”Once your records validate, a certificate is issued so your domain serves over
HTTPS. This is a separate step and takes its own time — the Domain screen shows
SSL status and when it last checked. It reads active once the certificate
is issued.
The badge next to the domain name sums it up: Pending while setup is in progress, Active once the domain is ready, and Error if validation failed — with the reason shown in red under the records.
The intermediate state, where DNS is correct but the certificate has not been issued yet, is normal and resolves on its own.
Make it your main address
Section titled “Make it your main address”Your storefront answers on the domain as soon as its badge shows Active. Search engines and shared links still use your Rubikc address until you change Production URL.

Visit the domain and confirm your storefront loads over HTTPS.

On Settings › Domain, under Production URL, choose Use your custom domain. It is available once the domain is Active.

Choose Save.
After going live
Section titled “After going live”Update anywhere pointing at your old Rubikc address — links from your Shopify store, campaigns, social profiles.
Leave all three DNS records in place. See If it isn’t working if anything stops later.
