Verify and go live
Check the records
Section titled “Check the records”On Settings › Domain, choose Check. Rubikc looks up each of your three records and reports on them individually.

| Wrong value | The record exists, but its value is not what it should be |
| Not found | No record at that name |
| Lookup error | The lookup itself failed — usually worth retrying |
Per-record statuses are the useful part. “Not found” on record 3 and “Matches” on records 1 and 2 tells you exactly where to look.
Give it time
Section titled “Give it time”DNS changes take time to propagate — usually minutes, sometimes hours, depending on your provider and its cache settings.
SSL comes after DNS
Section titled “SSL comes after DNS”Once your records validate, a certificate is issued so your domain serves over HTTPS. This is a separate step and takes its own time — the Domain screen shows SSL status and when it last checked.
The intermediate state, where DNS is correct but the certificate has not been issued yet, is normal and resolves on its own.
Point your storefront at it
Section titled “Point your storefront at it”-
Wait until DNS shows Matches on all three records and SSL is issued.

Visit the domain and confirm your storefront loads over HTTPS.

On the Domain screen, set your production URL to the custom domain.

Load it again and check it is serving what you expect.
After going live
Section titled “After going live”Update anywhere pointing at your old Rubikc address — links from your Shopify store, campaigns, social profiles.
Leave all three DNS records in place. See If it isn’t working if anything stops later.
