What decides the order
The home feed is ranked rather than fixed. Three things go into it, plus anything you have pinned.
Freshness
Section titled “Freshness”The largest influence. Cubes someone has already seen are pushed down, so a returning visitor gets something new rather than the same cards again.
This is why your feed looks different on a second visit, and why it should.
Your star rating
Section titled “Your star rating”Every product and general cube can be given a rating of one to five stars, directly in the cube list. It tells the ranking that a cube matters more than its neighbours.
Setting a rating. Click the star you want on any cube row. Clicking the same star again clears the rating.
Home cubes cannot be rated. They are not ranked against everything else, so the stars are disabled there.
The weights are yours
Section titled “The weights are yours”Freshness, your star ratings and variety are weighted, and those weights are settings rather than fixed rules — 60%, 20% and 20% by default. Most Spaces should leave them alone, but if your feed feels too random, or too stuck on the same cubes, that is where to look. See Feed.
Variety
Section titled “Variety”A deliberate element of randomness, so the feed is not identical for everyone and does not calcify around the same handful of cubes.
Without it, a cube that started well would keep winning and everything else would sink.
Using stars well
Section titled “Using stars well”Rating everything is the same as rating nothing — if every cube is five stars, the ranking learns nothing from it.
Rate the cubes you genuinely want seen more: your strongest products, current campaigns, the things you would put in a window. Leave the rest unrated.
Revisit them when a campaign ends. Old ratings quietly keep promoting last season’s products.
