Add your domain

Add it

1. Open Settings › Domain.

2. Under Custom Domains, enter the subdomain you want in Hostname — for example www.yourstore.com.

3. Choose Add domain.

Rubikc registers the domain and shows it in the list with its DNS instructions underneath.

The records to add

The screen lists three records. The first — the hostname CNAME pointing at saas.rubikc.net — is there straight away. The other two, the ownership TXT and the certificate validation CNAME, come from the certificate provider and usually appear straight away too.

Tip

If record 2 or 3 says its details are not available yet, choose Check to fetch them. That is expected, not an error.

Next to the domain, a badge shows Pending while setup is in progress.

Then

With all three records on screen, go and add them at your DNS provider.
