Add a survey
A survey is a question that appears as a card while someone is browsing. Because it is a block like any other, it sits in the swipe flow rather than interrupting it with a popup.
Create a survey
Section titled “Create a survey”-
Open Surveys in the sidebar.

Create a survey and write your question.

Choose the answer format — Multiple Choice, Slider or Text. A survey can have follow-up steps that only appear for certain answers. Follow-ups use the same text colour, button colours, and background as the rest of the survey, unless that question sets its own. Surveys

Make sure it is Active — open it and choose Activate if it is not. Only active surveys appear on your storefront.

Add it to a cube from the Surveys group in the block library on the Versions tab, and save the version.
Where to put it
Section titled “Where to put it”Placement decides whether anyone answers.
- Too early and people have not engaged enough to care.
- Too late and only the most committed see it.
- Mid-detail, after someone has shown interest in a product, tends to work best.
Reading the answers
Section titled “Reading the answers”Responses appear on the survey, including a graph for each multiple-choice follow-up. See Surveys. Audience › Surveys compares what people did after answering.
That second one is the interesting part. Knowing that 60% chose an answer is mildly useful; knowing that the people who chose it went on to buy at twice the rate is worth acting on.
