Connect your agent
Rubikc works with Claude, ChatGPT, Codex and Cursor, and with any assistant that supports MCP. How you connect depends on the assistant.

Every connection gets the same access — yours. Each one is named and listed separately in Account › MCP.
Build with an AI agent on the Get started page walks through the same connection for Claude and ChatGPT / Codex, and gives an MCP link for any other assistant, such as Cursor. Once the agent is connected, it offers jobs in order: Shop URL, Brand extraction, Brand book, Pages & content, and Build space with AI. Each one shows its progress and what the agent changed.
Claude
Section titled “Claude”-
In Admin, open Account › MCP and choose Open in Claude directory.

Connect Rubikc in Claude, and log in with your Rubikc account.

When Rubikc asks for a Connection name, give it one you will recognise.
ChatGPT and Codex
Section titled “ChatGPT and Codex”ChatGPT and Codex use the same Rubikc plugin.

In Admin, open Account › MCP and choose Open in ChatGPT plugins. Or search the plugins list in ChatGPT or Codex for Rubikc.

Install the plugin, and log in with your Rubikc account.

When Rubikc asks for a Connection name, give it one you will recognise.
Cursor and other assistants
Section titled “Cursor and other assistants”-
In Admin, open Account › MCP and choose Create MCP Connection.

Give it a Connection name — “Cursor agent”, “Content drafting”, whatever tells you what it is — and choose Create Connection.

Copy the MCP URL and add it to your assistant as an MCP server. In Cursor, that is under
mcpServersin its settings. -
Log in with your Rubikc account when prompted.
Reconnecting with that same URL reuses the same connection rather than making a new one.
Choose tool groups
Section titled “Choose tool groups”Some assistants, Cursor among them, cannot load every Rubikc tool at once. Add the groups that job needs to the end of the connection URL:

Each group can also list your Spaces and read your content playbook. Leave
toolsets off the URL to load everything, which is what Claude, ChatGPT and
Codex do. The login and the connection are the same either way.
Your connections
Section titled “Your connections”Account › MCP lists every connection by name, with how it connected — OAuth client for Claude, ChatGPT and Codex, Manual URL for one you created — and when it was last used and when it expires.
One connection can stay signed in from more than one computer. Disconnect ends it everywhere, and leaves your other connections alone. Naming connections clearly is what lets you tell which one to disconnect.
Confirm it worked
Section titled “Confirm it worked”The connection appears in Account › MCP. The better test is to ask the assistant something harmless:
Tell me what you can see in my Space. Do not change anything.
If it comes back with your real cubes, you are connected.
If it will not connect
Section titled “If it will not connect”- Login fails. Confirm you are signing in with the account that has access to the Space you expect.
- Connected but sees nothing. You may be on a different Space. Ask it which one it is looking at.
- It stopped working. Connections expire, and can be disconnected. Check Expires in Account › MCP, and reconnect.
