Deleting a Space
Section titled “Deleting a Space”Deleting hides every cube, block, version, structure, menu, uploaded file and analytics record in that Space. Your Shopify catalogue is untouched — Rubikc only ever read from it.
If this Space was connected to Shopify and you later connect that same shop again as the owner, Rubikc restores the deleted Space — including its slug — instead of creating a new one. That is the only way a deleted Space comes back.
Before you delete
Section titled “Before you delete”- Confirm you are in the right Space. Check the name.
- If a custom domain points here, repoint it first, or you will have a domain serving nothing.
- Export or note anything you want to keep. Nothing is exported for you.
Alternatives
Section titled “Alternatives”If you want a Space out of the way rather than gone, unpublishing its content or repointing its domain achieves that and is reversible.
