Get your storefront live

Getting live has two halves. A short setup builds your storefront. The Get started list in Admin then takes you through what makes it yours.

Note

Rubikc is invite-only at the moment, so you will arrive with access already set up rather than signing up yourself.

Setup builds your storefront

When you first open your Space, setup fills the screen and asks for one thing at a time:

1. Did we get your details right? Rubikc reads your current store’s site and fills in your store’s name, description, contact details, address and social links. Fix anything that’s off, then import your products.

2. Importing your products. Your Shopify products come into Rubikc. This runs in the background.

3. Choose how your products become cubes. Rubikc turns one of your products into a cube so you can see the result. Adjust the settings, update the preview until it looks right, then create cubes for all your products.

4. Building your Space. Rubikc creates the cubes, then adds your logo and favicon.

You can leave at any point and come back; setup picks up where it was. Skip setup in the corner takes you straight to Admin, and the import stays on the Get started list. To reopen setup later, go to Settings › Onboarding and choose Open setup.

Get started finishes it off

After setup, Get started sits at the top of the sidebar with a progress ring. The page lists what is left, and each item shows as done once it is finished:

• See your storefront opens your Space in a new tab, with the preview password filled in

• Review your cubes
• Write your content playbook
• Build with an AI agent
• Turn your content into cubes. Setup creates cubes for up to 30 products; the rest wait in Sources
• Set up navigation
• Import more content: collections, pages and blog posts
• Choose a plan, when your Space needs one
• Go live on your domain
• Invite your team
• Connect your other tools

Apart from the plan, none of these are urgent on day one. Hide this page removes Get started from the sidebar; Settings › Onboarding brings it back.

Before you start

You need a Shopify store with a catalogue in it, and your brand assets to hand — a logo, and your colours and fonts if you have them.

Nothing in this path changes your existing Shopify storefront, your theme, or your checkout. You can work through all of it with customers still shopping your current store, and stop at any point.
