Connect an integration
Connecting is a one-time step per system, done from Settings › Integrations. It moves no data — that is the sync.
Two kinds of system
Section titled “Two kinds of system”They behave differently enough to be worth separating.
Catalogue systems
Section titled “Catalogue systems”Shopify, Bokun, WooCommerce, Stripe.
These hold things you sell, and material from them becomes cubes — a cube per product, with a Feed card and detail behind it.
Shopify is the one nearly everyone uses. It is normally connected already by the time you reach Admin.
Media systems
Section titled “Media systems”Instagram, Google Drive.
These hold images and video rather than products. Material from them is appended into cubes you already have rather than creating new ones — you choose a destination cube and where in its order the content should land.
Connecting
Section titled “Connecting”Open Settings › Integrations, choose the system, and authorise it. You will be sent to that system to approve access and returned to Rubikc.
If a connection stops working
Section titled “If a connection stops working”Authorisation expires, and access can be revoked in the source system. The symptom is usually syncs failing rather than an obvious error.
Check Sync logs for what failed, then re-authorise the connection from Integrations.
