Glossary

Word What it means
Space One storefront — its cubes, brand, languages, domain and settings. Run two brands, and that is two Spaces.
Cube One destination a customer can arrive at and swipe through: a product, a page, a story.
Block One piece of content inside a cube — one full-screen card.
Version What customers see for one language: an ordered list of Blocks. You save a version; you publish the Blocks on it.
Feed The home surface people land on. Built from your cubes; a cube’s first Block is its card there.
Word What it means
Shared block A Block reused across many cubes. Edit it once and every cube using it changes.
Structure How cubes are grouped — the Rubikc equivalent of a collection.
Navigation Your storefront menus. Not the same as a Structure.
Source Raw material pulled in from a connected system, before it becomes a cube.
Inbox Where incoming Sources land, waiting to be turned into cubes.
Automation A scheduled import or transform that runs without you.
Sync Pulling fresh data from a connected system into your Sources.
Transform Turning Sources into cubes and Blocks. Separate from sync.
Playbook Written guidance that steers how Rubikc generates and transforms content for your Space.
Smart cart The cart experience inside your Space.
Standard page Terms, privacy, shipping and similar — the pages every store needs.
Tag A label for organising cubes.
Survey A question asked inside the swipe experience. A survey is a kind of Block.
Kind What it is for
Product Something you sell. Keeps an add-to-cart control on its Feed card.
Home The landing surface of your Space.
General Everything else — pages, stories, lookbooks, campaigns.
