Send real traffic

Your Rubikc storefront runs at its own address, entirely separately from your Shopify store. That means you decide who sees it and when, and you can start small.

Your Shopify storefront keeps serving the traffic it always did. Your Rubikc storefront sits at its own address doing nothing until you send someone to it.

There is no moment where your store changes hands. You point people at the new address, gradually, and watch what happens.

Pick whichever fits how you already reach customers:

  • A link in your existing store — a nav item or banner pointing at your Rubikc address.
  • A campaign or ad with the Rubikc address as its destination.
  • Your social bio link, which suits a swipe-first storefront well.
  • An email campaign to a slice of your list.

Starting with one channel rather than all of them makes the results easier to read.

Give it enough traffic to mean something, then look at how people behaved rather than only at what they bought:

  • How far do people get before they stop?
  • Which cubes hold attention, and which get swiped past?
  • Where do sessions end?

Analytics covers what Rubikc can see and how to read it.

When you are convinced, point your main domain at Rubikc and update the links that used to go to your old storefront. Your Shopify catalogue and checkout are unchanged either way — what moves is where people browse.

Some merchants stop before that and keep Rubikc as a separate channel for good.
