Two different actions, on two different tabs.

A version is live as soon as it exists — there is nothing to publish there. What decides whether a customer sees something is whether the block is on the version and whether that block is published.

Do it

1. On the Versions tab, pick your language, arrange the blocks, and save the version.

2. Publish anything that should be visible. On Versions, unpublished or edited cards show a warning icon next to Edit; live cards do not. If you save a version that still has unpublished blocks, Admin asks whether to publish them at the same time.

3. Open your storefront in that language and look at it.

Step 3 is the one people skip and the only one that proves anything.

Saving a version does not publish its blocks

You can save a version with a block on it and still see nothing, because that block has never been published. Look for the warning icon next to Edit — Unpublished or Edited since publish — or publish them when Admin offers to as you save.

The cube list flags this too: a cube in that state shows Unpublished view in its Content column.

Removing something

Take the block off the version and save. The block itself stays on the Blocks tab, so you can put it back later.

Unpublishing a block hides it wherever it appears.
