Plan

Until a plan is active, visitors see a password page and checkout is off. Use the preview password to look at the storefront yourself, and to share it before it is public.

A Shopify Space chooses its plan in Shopify. A Space on Stripe chooses it there. When a Space does not need a plan, Plan says so and the preview password is optional. When billing is not set up, Plan says the storefront stays public.

Plan

Plan shows whether a plan is active, the plan name, and how much trial time is left. A trial counts as an active plan: the password can be turned off, and checkout works.

Choose a plan in Shopify or Manage plan in Shopify opens the plan page in Shopify. Choose a plan or Manage plan opens billing for a Space on Stripe.

Preview password

Every Space starts with a password of six letters. While it is on, it must be at least 6 characters. While it is off, clear the field and save to remove it. Capitals do not matter when visitors type it.

The password stays on until a plan is active. After that, turn Enabled off to make the storefront public, or leave it on so visitors still need the password.

Previews in Admin, such as the cube preview and the styling preview, use the password for you.
